How’s this for random: buzzed-about indie-rock band Portugal. The Man hails from Wasilla, Alaska, hometown of Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who once served as mayor of the town.
Judging by this blog post today on the band’s website, Palin is not polling well in the Wasilla indie-rock community.
